As part of our Sharing the Planet unit, our Grade 3 Service Group organized a beautiful community visit to the local retirement home. Students have been exploring how people can take action to support and care for others, and this visit was a meaningful way to put that learning into practice.
Over the past weeks, students worked creatively to design and build their own recycled musical instruments—a perfect blend of sustainability, innovation, and joyful learning. Today, they proudly brought their instruments to the retirement home, where they performed a short musical presentation for the residents. The room was filled with smiles, laughter, and heartfelt moments as our students connected across generations. They showed kindness, confidence, and a true sense of responsibility in making someone’s day a little brighter.
We are incredibly proud of our Grade 3 changemakers for taking action and demonstrating what it means to care for our community and our planet.
