Below you can read all the information you need to know about enrolling your child at the International School of Debrecen, including finances.
To begin the enrollment process, you must first register on our online application portal, Open Apply. This platform allows you to track your application’s progress and upload all the necessary documentation.
Please note that a non-refundable application fee of EUR 100 is required to complete the registration process. This fee covers the administrative costs associated with processing your application and is payable upon submission of the application.
Application Fee
The registration of a student can only be completed once the payment of EUR 100 application fee was paid. The application fee is non-refundable. This charge covers the cost of the administrative activities, payable upon the submission of the application.

When making the wire transfer, the Reference is the applicant’s name and date of birth.
Registration Fee
In case the admissions process was successful, enrollment can be started. For starting the process, a non-refundable, one-off registration fee of EUR 1.000 is to be paid for all newly enrolled students once the admission is confirmed. This is payable within 8 days of signing the contract. The payment secures the student’s place for the school year included in the contract.
Tuition Fee
The chart contains the tuition fees for the 2023/24 school year. All amounts are indicated EURO, the tuition fee can also be paid in HUF (determined at the daily EUR/HUF exchange rate applicable on the date of invoicing).
Payment schedules:
Annual tuition fee is due in August.
Semi-Annual tuition fee is due in August and January.
Quarterly tuition fee is due in August, November, January and April.

Please note that an additional fee of 2% will be charged in case of cash payments at the school.
*The legal guardian is entitled to 10% DP program discount if the child is a student of the 11th grade in the school year 2023-24, 11th or 12th grade in the school year 2024-25, 12th grade in the school year 2025-26.

Family discount
-15% / -25% / -35%
We offer a 15% discount from the tuition fee for the second child, 25% for the third and 35% for the fourth child enrolled.
Loyalty discount
-8% / -10%
Families who joined ISD in the school year of 2021/22 or before receive an ISD loyalty discount in recognition of their loyalty and risk they have taken. Students starting at least their third year of school will receive an 8% tuition discount, and students starting their at least their fifth year of school will receive a 10% discount.
School meals
HUF 2.450 / day
We provide food three times a day: morning snacks, lunch and afternoon snacks. Students with food sensitivities or allergies may order a menu to suit their special needs.
School bus
HUF 3.956 / school day
The price is per person and in case of return transport from and to the place of residence in Debrecen. The monthly fee is based on the number of teaching days, so the service fee may vary from month to month. We offer the possibility for only one-way transport service, or transport service to Nyíregyháza, or a transport service for students taking part in After School Acitivities.
