School bus information
Compared to previous years, there have been changes to the process of ordering and invoicing the bus. While ISD handled all ordering and billing for the bus service, this will change from the 2023-24 school year.
ISD handles the applications for the service and is a connecting partner between parents and the bus company. The contracted bus company (EDEN GROUP) will send the invoices to parents.
For this reason, the ordering process will change: parents can order the service by filling in and signing the document found on the Application button.
Prices
Our school buses pick up children in the morning at the address provided on the application form and take them to school throughout Debrecen and Nyíregyháza, then return them in the afternoon. The price of the service (gross) is as follows:

For residents of Debrecen:
Residence – ISD (return): 3 956 HUF/person/teaching day
Residence – ISD (one way): 2 769 HUF/person/teaching day
For residence in Nyíregyháza:
Residence – ISD (return): 22 172 HUF/person/teaching day
Residence – ISD (one way): 15 520 HUF/person/teaching day
Post ASA (After School Activity) service only:
ISD – residence in Debrecen: 10 922 HUF/person/occasion
ISD – Nyíregyháza residence: 42 377 HUF/person/occasion
The school bus service can only be ordered for a whole month. The fee is invoiced to parents by the bus company according to the number of school days in the given month (average 18 school days / month), so the charged amount may varies. Due to illness or absence, we are not able to deduct the fees for those days. Orders must be submitted by the 15th day of the month preceding the month in question, after which the invoice will be issued with a 5(!) day payment deadline. Please send the filled in document to bus.service@isd.debrecen.hu.
It is possible to request the bus service for only given day(s) only after the end of the After School Activities (ASA). The price of the service in this case is:
ISD – residence in Debrecen: 10 922 HUF/person/day
ISD – residence in Nyíregyháza: 42 377 HUF/person/day
