We are looking for a proactive, organized and people-oriented Communication Specialist to join our team.
The Communication Specialist supports the smooth day-to-day operation of the school and ensures effective communication between the school, parents and guardians, students, teachers, administration, and external service providers.
The role combines communication, administration, coordination, and operational support and requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hungarian.

Key Responsibilities
1. Parent & School Communication
- Maintain professional and continuous communication with parents and guardians.
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and helpful manner.
- Provide clear and accurate information about school procedures, attendance, transportation, meals, health-related activities, trips, and events.
- Coordinate information between parents, teachers, administration, and other departments.
- Contribute to improving parent communication processes.
2. Daily School Operations
- Support teachers and staff with the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
- Process information related to student attendance and daily school activities.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to the school paramedic.
- Ensure important information reaches the appropriate colleagues and departments.
3. School Bus Coordination
- Maintain regular communication with the school bus service provider.
- Coordinate transportation-related requests, changes, concerns, and complaints.
- Communicate relevant changes to parents and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate daily bus records and reports.
- Support afternoon bus duties and help resolve transportation-related issues.
4. School Nurse & Paramedic Support
- Provide administrative and communication support to the school nurse and paramedic.
- Communicate relevant information and requirements to parents and guardians.
- Coordinate information between the nurse, paramedic, parents, teachers, and administration.
5. School Meal Administration
- Communicate with parents and the food service provider regarding meal-related matters.
- Prepare daily meal reports and follow up on issues with the ordering system.
- Coordinate the resolution of complaints and technical problems when necessary.
6. Field Trips & School Activities
- Support the administrative and practical organization of field trips and service learning trips.
- Prepare and send relevant information to parents.
7. Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date school and student records.
- File and manage official school and educational documentation.
- Update information in relevant school systems and ensure accurate record-keeping.
8. School Events & Community Engagement
- Support the organization and smooth running of school events and activities.
- Represent the school in a professional, welcoming, and positive manner.
