Az ISD di\u00e1kjaival \u00e9s sz\u00fcleikkel, a tan\u00e1rokkal \u00e9s irodai dolgoz\u00f3kkal folytatott besz\u00e9lget\u00e9sek sor\u00e1n megtudtam, hogy milyen sokat jelent ez az iskola a debreceni k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9gnek. Er\u0151s az ig\u00e9ny arra, hogy olyan iskolakult\u00far\u00e1t hozzunk l\u00e9tre, amelyben mindenki fejl\u0151dik, valamint arra, hogy a tanul\u00f3k elsaj\u00e1t\u00edts\u00e1k mindazon tud\u00e1st, k\u00e9szs\u00e9geket \u00e9s attit\u0171d\u00f6ket, amelyek r\u00e9v\u00e9n sikeresen hozz\u00e1 tudnak j\u00e1rulni a t\u00e1rsadalomhoz. Szil\u00e1rd meggy\u0151z\u0151d\u00e9sem, hogy k\u00f6z\u00f6sen ki tudjuk akn\u00e1zni a Nemzetk\u00f6zi \u00c9retts\u00e9giben (IB) rejl\u0151 lehet\u0151s\u00e9geket egy olyan iskolai kult\u00fara l\u00e9trehoz\u00e1s\u00e1ra, amelyben mindenki kibontakoztathatja k\u00e9pess\u00e9geit.<\/p>\n

A nemzetk\u00f6zi oktat\u00e1ssal kapcsolatos ismereteimet tizenh\u00e9t \u00e9vnyi tan\u00edt\u00e1si, tanul\u00e1si \u00e9s vezet\u00e9si tapasztalat form\u00e1lta Eur\u00f3p\u00e1ban, Afrik\u00e1ban, D\u00e9lkelet-\u00c1zsi\u00e1ban \u00e9s a K\u00f6zel-Keleten. Ez a tapasztalat megtan\u00edtott arra, hogy az IB kiv\u00e1l\u00f3 infrastrukt\u00far\u00e1t biztos\u00edt egy olyan iskola l\u00e9trehoz\u00e1s\u00e1hoz, amely megtan\u00edtja a di\u00e1kokat arra, hogy \u00f6n\u00e1ll\u00f3an gondolkodjanak, t\u00f6r\u0151djenek m\u00e1sokkal \u00e9s cselekedeteik sor\u00e1n mindenki \u00e9rdekeit figyelembe vegy\u00e9k.
\n\u00dagy v\u00e9lem, legfontosabb szerepem igazgat\u00f3k\u00e9nt az, hogy seg\u00edtsek megteremteni azokat a felt\u00e9teleket, amelyek r\u00e9v\u00e9n k\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9g\u00fcnk egy\u00fctt tanulhat egy\u00e9nk\u00e9nt \u00e9s szervezetk\u00e9nt egyar\u00e1nt. K\u00f6z\u00f6ss\u00e9g\u00fcnknek k\u00f6z\u00f6s j\u00f6v\u0151k\u00e9pet, c\u00e9lokat \u00e9s strat\u00e9gi\u00e1kat kell l\u00e9trehoznia az IB elvei ment\u00e9n, de el\u0151sz\u00f6r is id\u0151t kell sz\u00e1nnunk arra, hogy megismerj\u00fck egym\u00e1st \u00e9s t\u00f6r\u0151dj\u00fcnk egym\u00e1ssal.<\/p>\n

Sk\u00f3t-magyar csal\u00e1dom t\u00f6bb tekintetben is alapvet\u0151en \u00e9rdekelt az ISD siker\u00e9ben. Feles\u00e9gem, Abig\u00e9l is az iskol\u00e1ban tan\u00edt, fiaink, Jack \u00e9s Sean pedig az ISD als\u00f3 tagozatos di\u00e1kjai.
\nAbi \u00e9s \u00e9n mindketten vil\u00e1gpolg\u00e1rok vagyunk, akik \u00e9rdekl\u0151dnek az emberek ir\u00e1nt \u00e9s szeretik a kalandokat. 2006-ban ismerekedt\u00fcnk meg Gambi\u00e1ban, ahol \u00e9n els\u0151 nemzetk\u00f6zi iskolai tan\u00e1ri \u00e1ll\u00e1somban dolgoztam, \u0151 pedig az ELTE sz\u00e1m\u00e1ra v\u00e9gzett kultur\u00e1lis antropol\u00f3giai kutat\u00e1sokat.<\/p>\n

Sean \u00e9s Jack mindketten a F\u00fcl\u00f6p-szigeteken sz\u00fclettek. Kedves, boldog \u00e9s akt\u00edv fi\u00fak, akik szeretik a sportokat, k\u00fcl\u00f6n\u00f6sen a focit. Nagyon nagy hasznukra v\u00e1lt eddig is a nemzetk\u00f6zi oktat\u00e1s, de \u00fagy v\u00e9lj\u00fck, az ISD egy \u00faj dimenzi\u00f3t fog ehhez hozz\u00e1adni az\u00e1ltal, hogy seg\u00edt nekik megszil\u00e1rd\u00edtani identit\u00e1sukat vil\u00e1gpolg\u00e1rk\u00e9nt. Jack \u00e9s Sean angol anyanyelv\u0171ek, de sz\u00fclet\u00e9s\u00fck \u00f3ta elk\u00f6telezt\u00fck magunkat amellett, hogy k\u00e9tnyelv\u0171k\u00e9nt n\u0151jenek fel.
