Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Our FAQs contains the answers for the most common questions to provide you with essential information about the school.

All international and Hungarian children are welcome to apply to our school.
One of the most important principles of the school is the highly personalized care for each child, therefore children will learn in small classes. We plan 18-20 children in a kindergarten group; 20-22 students in elementary school classes; and 22-24 students in high school classes.
The total number of the teachers is planned to be around 50 - 60 when the school operates at full capacity. Our educators will be both English native-speaker as well as Hungarian teachers with international experience.
Boarding facilities are planned to be established as a next step within a few years.
We do not plan to have school uniforms; however, school-branded products will be available.
School day starts at 9 a.m. Students who arrive earlier can participate in various programs until lessons begin. In the afternoon they can take part in a variety of extracurricular activities.

2. Application and enrolment

The steps to take for a student’s admission are as follows:
1. Please contact our office by e-mail or phone to set an appointment for a personal meeting with the school’s director. (+36 20 404 4822 or
2. After accepting GDPR terms, please complete the application form (soon available)
In kindergarten and in the early years of the elementary school, we carry out a personal interview with both future students and their families to better understand the child’s needs. The conversation takes place in the presence of a school psychologist.
In the upper classes of the elementary school, good academic achievement should be accompanied by an appropriate level of English knowledge, which is evaluated based on a written test.
To enroll children in the international matriculation program, students must have a functional English language knowledge in both written and verbal form and good academic achievements.
Over the age of ten, students must have a certain level of English proficiency. The required scale of English knowledge increases by age. For applicants under the age of ten, it is not essential to speak English.

3. Pedagogical program

The performance of students will constantly be followed by the teachers. The analysis and evaluation of the written and spoken reports, portfolios and project tasks (coursework elements) happens in the form of texts, grades, reflection and self-reflection.

4. Language learning

The working language of the school is English, but all students have the opportunity to study their mother tongue at a literary level. Our EAL (English as Additional Language) program is applied to prepare students to be able to participate in general lessons in English.
The EAL program is available for any students whose English proficiency requires development.
We provide students with the opportunity to acquire additional foreign languages based on their needs and individual expectations. Students can choose primarily from German, Spanish, French and Mandarin languages.
